Spell totems costing charges to summon is tragic.

I agree with you. The fundamental problem is that the POE2 vision is "we cannot allow any relaxing, simple, chill-out gameplay in POE2".
That needs to change first. Totem builds should be available to people who want an easy game, just like other types of 1 button builds. Hardcore

I had the exact same thought when he said that.They killed an entire god damn archetype before it even came out,and given Templar has an entire ascendency around it I imagine that's gonna be DOA as well.

The whole game is going with the generator/spender crap.
Look what they did to sorc, half damage unless you want to cast another skill, wait 4 seconds, pick up remnant, get 1 single cast at normal damage. None of the skills are usable till endgame because of this, you have to level with some other classes skills until you have both the levels and gear to support getting normal damage from your skills. No thanks. |

I've always viewed totems as a playstyle rather than a specific skill, and having the totems locked behind charges certainly stings a little. I'm not doom and gloom yet because I can't imagine we don't have access to alternate ways to deploy them without charges.

It was the one thing I was looking forward to from the beginning, play SpellTotems, since it's my preferred and favourite playstyle.
This whole charge->spender mechanic is absolute trash, hasn't worked and i doubt it will. |

Why is that players are doing whatever possible to automate stuff and getting rid of resources management to make playing easier? 1-button holy grail is always the goal:) D3, d4, poe1, poe2 doesn't matter, its the same everywhere, every time.
