Another "combo" gameplay class
When most people play 1 button builds and ENJOY it, that may give you a hint maybe? That people do not want souls cosplay at all?

Nerfs to lightning? How about buffing other elements instead?

Nerfs to monster density?

Lake of Kalandra mechanic.

Still the endgame that forces you to play different maps.

No Act 5/6.

0.1 was still best patch, it had actual fun builds.

Zoom is not fun. People only play it because they have loot Fomo.
You can still use your one-button build, stop trying to remove gameplay diversity.

As someone who played poe1 for many years I do not have desire to play slow builds with many buttons.
1 button and good loot? I can play for month.

As someone who played PoE1 for many years, I think you should keep playing PoE1.
Instead of making a clone of that trash, we're going to make something else.

And I didn't mean that you personally, or anyone else can't find mind-numbing zoom 'fun'. But I am saying that it's only 'popular' because people have to play zoom to maximize loot. It's not about fun, it's about loot fomo.

They should still just buff what is bad and not nerf what is good, that should come after the fact that everything is somewhat decent. We will see how good the one button builds are, if they are shit its sayonara.

Going to have to agree here. Game developers already lost sight of the initial goal that drew in many players - "A challenging game". When a character can kill a monster faster than you could if you were given cheat codes, the game isn't a game anymore.

go play poe1 these is a more complex game when it comes to gameplay. personally love the new class, hopefully every str class will be like that, the others are the one that are meant to be more about spamm i think. And for what they just did i suspect thats theIR vision, they want str class to be technical, and honestly as a enyoier of all clases the more diverse the better if you want plain gameplay go diablo4 or any other of the millions arpg that are in the market, like you are just complaining about something that was said by devs day 1 i think or almost. get over it, you are never gonna be satisfaid with this game im afraid.
