my setup
i5-9600k
32gb ram
nvidia 2070
game on ssd drive
dx12 win10

shaders bar always full, but seems not much affected to overall fps:
70-100 average on lows with dlss
50-80 without dlss

shaders keeps compiling even on character selection screen

ok here is small update for my first post
ive tried all advises:
cleared my '\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\' folder
cleared 'AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2\' folder
uninstall my GPU from windows completely and redownload lates drivers(591.44)
changed cache size to 10gb nvdidia settings
also tried swap from dx12 to vulkan and run game in fullscreen mode

after all, ive noticed that '\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\' folder size didnt changed after POE game session, but 'AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2\' has been modified

shaders bar was full about 5 min or so after first game launch, but after alt+tab for couple minutes shaders bar goes down to 0
it goes active again when i entered new locations for couple minutes, but goes down to 0 after all (looks like normal behavior)
also 'AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2\' keeps growing from time to time for a little
in other words alt+tab in fullscreen mode kinda trigger somehow (for me at least)
dont pretend to be a solution or dog-nail, its just my personal expirience ive shared

increasing your cache size is not a very consistent fix, i assume someone with a higher end pc might get away with it but doesnt fix the underlying issue and will create a new one by putting your disk at risk of filling up

i get that this whole process of making a new thread and posting your specs is the procedure but anyone with eyes could simply just press F1 and look at the shader bar be full for 99% of play time to see the problem, really baffles me how we are almost 2 weeks into the league and this is the first acknowledgement ggg has given to this issue

i've been really heavily affected by this problem, have tried all the above fixes and increased my cache size and the problem persists, been monitoring forum posts and in the technical support section one in every five threads seems to be about this, i'm on a lower end pc but have played for years just fine. obviously fps do drop in the more heavy loaded content like blighted maps but 90% of the time i play at a pretty stable frame rate, ill post specs below just in case it helps get this fixed

GTX 1650 4GB
i5-9400F 2.9Ghz
16GB RAM DDR3
Windows 10
Latest NVidia Drivers (581.80)

When did GGG acknowledge this shader cache issue?

Bump

If these problems aren't fixed in 3.28 the game will just become more and more unplayable for more people.

Very likely PoE 2 as well, since their engines are now the same. Hopefully further reports after its launch in december will motivate GGG to actually do something before too long.

This problem started with POE2 0.3, and now POE1 3.27 also has this issue.
