I don't really think this is a time to talk about "compensations" or whatever. This whole thing is, however, pretty much in line with what seems like a general lack of attention to the console side of POE (both 1 and 2, actually). It's understandable, the console audience is miniscule, although a chicken/egg debate is probably in order. The server issues, at least - meaning the frequent lags during gameplay, not the topic of this thread - do seem to be a general problem, since PC users mention them as well, so we might be taken care of there accidentally when GGG decides to address them.
