divine orbs
" Go ahead and start whispering, not likely to get a response. |

All this talk about bots and market manipulation, is everyone daft?
League migration had just happened, of course the market is wonky, there is a HUGE influx of wealth into standard. Unless you understand the market implications and are attempting to profit from them, I would advise not making any large purchases in standard the week of league migrations. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" I just tested, after three clicks and spent 10 seconds I bought 1 divine for 320 chaos :) |

Isn't it more like exchanging into biggest possible to currency, so if you ever go back to standard, you don't have to handle 10k Chaos orbs instead you can handle 500 Divines or a Mirror? (No real rates tbh, just to be clear what i mean)

" The hyperbole of "I messaged 500 people over 10 minutes and got zero responses." has always been ridiculous. I've never once had that happen. Not even once. Either these people are horrendously bad at trading, or the unluckiest people on the planet. Thanks for all the fish!

" this happens all the time if you are hunting items for cheaper that they really are :) d:-D*

" 500 persons are definitely too much. but i can verify going through a list of sellers. the first 10-20 persons having only 3-4 persons actually responding. coming back to try trade again an hour later would yield similar results. my friends have similar results too. i think it boils down to what we are trading for as well as time of day and if its league end or not. " this is also partially true. there can be people who are mislisting items at wrong prices intentionally. and there are people who put a too cheap price. but it goes back on them to either change the listing or de-list the item entirely. " I have on very rare occasions had to message 10+ people for something -- and I mean very rare. It really wasn't that big of an inconvenience if I'm being completely honest. There are also things that make trading a ton easier that I think people just never bothered to learn. Simple things like checking the value of the thing and skipping to the listings that are closer to that value rather than going for all the items listed at the lowest prices. Or sorting by most recent. Or filtering for a much smaller window since listed. Also don't buy currency, sell it. Thanks for all the fish!

" The outcome matches the reasonable expectation then. Or this falls into "bad at trading" :) Thanks for all the fish! Last edited by Nubatron#4333 on Oct 30, 2025, 9:34:58 AM

Inflation always happens. The value of Divines is tied to the Divine sink meta crafting. Late into the league, people aren't meta crafting anymore, causing Divines to be less useful as a crafting component, and more useful as a hording component for their purchase power. STD is perpetually in the hording phase.
