Exping over level 97 is boring and totally interest in game killing

I always stopped at level 94 in PoE1. Most people stopped at 93 or 94. I see people stopping higher in PoE2, like 96. I don't know if that means the climb is less steep, or that there's nothing else to do in the endgame yet.

If you're at 97, you finished the game. My advice: start a new character, or go outside.

There is supposed to be a lot more to do in 0.4. Hang tight for six weeks.
SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

And yet they play the game. Can't be that bad, this exp loss, if more then 100k people played this league for quite some time.

Hmmm...here is ok.I think on your side. Actually is 28K...no idea where from you got 100K....
When a player says that stopped in 92 level becouse further levels can't provide any special bonus then it's becouse there is absolutely no balance between classes. For example a level 92 Spearman can do 3x damage of 97 level Crossbow player... A level 90 Dead Eye can clear boss 10x faster time than a same level Minion build player. It's obvious catastrophic and GGG proceeds with closed eyes....

I say add ability to lose levels. No penalty right after leveling is too OP. If I die a lot at L97 I should be slowly demoted to L1.

First Devs need to stop this madness with unbalanced classes/ builds abd whatever destroys and ruins equality. Becouse right now some "genius" players benefited from broken rules and can reach easily to 200 level without a single death. Then we can talk about deleveling...
