Exping over level 97 is boring and totally interest in game killing

The problem is you have to play on areas with like <2% death risk at all time, which means very boring even with omen of amelioriation. If you have a good streak and happen to reach around 20% exp without a death, then it is simply too valuable to afford loss, you have to grind all the way to new level. I'm now 45% to lvl98 and I'm not 100% sure I will play to level up.

In order to keep vast amount of exp needed for next level and make it more enjoyable, please introduce a possibly, perhaps a new orb that will allow you to freeze your exp at any level. You apply that orb to yourself and can cancel at any time. While in effect, you gain no exp and loose no exp on death. Perhaps there could be small fee of loosing some small amount of exp when applying. The drop rate I would see such that the market price of that new orb would be between 1-5d.

So resonable cost plus small fee of existing exp in order to prevent abuse.

I've asked for the same thing; for a way to turn off exp gain and loss. That way players could take a break from playing it safe during the massive exp grind at later levels to do more dangerous content. The omens help, for sure. But the grind is so long and arduous I still believe some improvements could be made.
I dont really like EXP loss, but i also dont hate it. It gets really slow after Level 97, but at that point you dont really need the extra levels. It wont give you huge benefits.

i hate the exp loss
i got my deadeye to lvl 98 and stopped playing
1 death minus numerous hours of play time
its demotivating to play

The problem is not that XP loss exist. The problem is that it exist with an ancient old and boring way that have been copied from Poe1. There are ton of innovative ideas but still GGG bothers with other things than the those who will bring people back.

+1. Xp gain after level 96 doesn't reward you enough and due to the unbalanced DPS between Meta and non Meta builds there is a huge gap between players. It's like poor and rich people in real life.
Some people can't even reach 95 bro...
Imagine how s..t the build balance is! Play only Dead Eye and ES if you want reach high levels.
