Anticipation of Loot Apocalypse 2

ive been running some 8 mod harvest strat lately with 2 risk scarab and it seems nothing of value drops from base game... even divines are rare on 300/400 quant rarity maps.

its the difference of mb being 300-400 divs instead of around 100-150. heck i cant remember the league, but even getting aegis was above 20divs...

game clearly has party problem, but i dont get it how nerfing loot for everyone resolves that...
Now that mercs aren't helping with party stats, it gets worse.
I poop, therefore I am.

I'm aware of that, and I'm one those players with really low goals; I'm happy to reach maps and do that for a week...then wait for the next league.

However, I don't like that people like me, with those low goals have no new things to do each league; besides some minor stuff. The game only changes for those with huge goals, for the rest of us it's exactly the same thing.

This feels like a very difficult group to target for GGG. To be more specific, how does GGG create new content that appeals to folks who make it to maps for a weeks and then quit, and the rest who continue to play until end game?

Can you provide an example of something that would appeal to your particular playstyle? I'm just curious.
Thanks for all the fish!

You are correct. I don't think there is a valid solution. This is a symptom of having an "endless" game.

People like me should simply realize that this game is not for us anymore, and just move on. Easier said then done.
I think the meta is destined to be "graftblood earned per hour." Rare printing early league, foulborn unique printing later in league.

I'm not betting on T0s being as accessible this league but if they are it'll be because the tree is printing them.

I fear you're correct.

What have they done to my favorite game?

If this is the case, I hope it flunks and they never do this again.

What a stupid fucking mechanic.

Edit: It feels like a POE2 idea and, personally, I want them to keep those ideas away from the good game. They said one wouldn't influence the other and, again, that was all bullshit and lies.

It's actually funny to me when people complain about loot; when the noobs do it, it's their fault for their unoptimized linear loot; when the no-lifers do it, it's GGG fault for trying to balance exponential loot-printing strategies.

Fallacies, loaded metaphors, hyperbole, drama... You'd think this is a reddit post.
This is silly. We haven't actually heard anything about loot drop rates other than that there will be fewer wisdom scrolls after Act 1.

Okay, so mercs are going away. That's not the same as a blanket loot nerf. It doesn't affect standard at all, and there will be new league loot.

Okay, so some methods of farming that were good this league aren't going to be around anymore. Again, that's not the same as drastically less loot dropping, since it's not affecting other areas of the game.

It's incredibly preemptive to doomsay about this next league becoming the next kalandra. There's not enough info to get so worked up about it.
Softcore, solo self-found.

Each player has a subjective approach to the game, each has something that interests him more or less.
When in 13 years in POE1 you play the main campaign in the game more than a hundred times, when you finish the maps and bosses every time, it becomes quite boring, even tiring, right!?

The mechanics of the new league are only interesting until you get to know/conquer it, and it takes the average player two or three weeks to do that.

What keeps me in the game longer than two or three weeks are: loot and farming, crafting, new powerful items (uniques if there are any), trading, etc.

They are removing map explicit modifiers and also reducing the rarity on the inner atlas ring.

I kinda agree that loot nerfs are affecting everyone but experienced crafters since they just keep taking time off the players. And time is the most valuable resource a player has.
