I've been a long time player and supporter of poe 1 and 2 and I gotta say: patch 0.3.1 is a new low for me, both from a game and a communication perspective. I don't really understand why you would release a patch like this mid league, but I assume you must have reasons for game design. But to include various nerfs in that patch, that are not even anywhere in the patch notes followed by 0 actual communication over the following weeks is like a guide to getting rid of your player base. I gotta say I haven't touched the game since the patch and right now I don't even feel like coming back for the next league.
I can live with a lot of trying stuff out in a new game and I also think it is understandable that not every performance issue can be resolved right away in a beta. But I would really expect some kind of a reaction or explanation when a patch mid league obviously makes the game worse for a vast amount of players. |
