Boss's action spam

Hello exiles.

We all know GGG doesn't really care about feedback from players who live outside their social circles, so I'm curious to hear what other players like me think about my issue.

This is a prime example of boss action spam. As you can see, Zahmir can't even breathe for a second. There's no "real" cooldown, no thought process, no direction. It's a complete bullet-hell scam.

So, my question is: what do you think compels GGG to create such boring mechanics instead of a much more polished and unique gameplay style? Do you think they keep doing the same thing they did with PoE1 because they know their studio is still so underwhelming compared to others? Or is it just lazy game design? Or is it because their target audience is still 15-25 year olds who love anime and flashy things?

I mean, I just laughed after my character died, but I think there's a difference between skill and pure bullshit, and I think some of these fights are just ridiculous from a gameplay standpoint.


there are so many opportunities to do damage in that fight. the guy spends like 3 seconds winding up for an attack. you need to quit panic rolling.
Stop spamming dodge roll. Wait for the lunge.

This is one of the best bosses designed besides Shaper or Elder. This is the boss after the homing and damage nerf. No exarch or memory game stuff, just an enduring and deadly boss fight. It's too bad all these bosses are burst down in 1/60th of a second. Hopefully they will experiment with a prolonged initial immunity and enraged phases that require fighting the boss, not simply running out a hidden timer to later one shot it.
