Unwalkable terrain that looks very walkable

Can't move in direction of green arrow, unwalkable, can be seen at minimap.
Should also be seen on the ground itself, without minimap.

A very important subgenre of the overall visual clarity problem.
Haven't encountered this myself, but does look like something that should be fixed.

this is the visual clarity problem i wish they would address. I dont care about mtx clutter, just stop putting invisible obstacles on the map.
yeah it sucks +1

100% this is awful. I hate that you need the minimap to determine what is an obstacle.

combined with sprint being 'sticky' if you ever bump into anything, the movement in this game has felt very bad lately.

I've been considering going back to mouse movement instead of wsad so i can benefit from pathfinding.
Abyssal Depth is another example. I miss a bridge so often because i think the bones are part of the scenery.

This grinds my gears too.

This is one of PoE 2's most significant issues.

Artsists have done far too much on Skill Effects adding excessive visual clutter, and not enough on map tile sets for visual clarity. It is almost impossible to map without navigating via the minimap.

I play HCSSF only (level 94). It is too difficult to capture these during combat, but visual clarity is much worse during combat.

There are many more examples but here are a few:

Blooming Field

2. Untraversable

3. Traversable

Rustbowl

Spring

Sump

Wetlands

2. Traversable
