Forced boss fight ruining the game?

" Even when I play a ranged character I tend to try and fight bosses in melee range anyway since it's easier to dodge and react to their attacks that way. So I have no idea why you think that's preventing you in some way. The devs clearly want to encourage some very basic movement and reactionary gameplay since it's .. fun. You clearly want to stand still and face tank auto attack which isn't fun. If you have 700 div invested in to a monk and are struggling on map bosses there's nothing left to discuss. We all know what the issue is at that point (hint, not the game) |

Mate, I don’t pretend to be a pro player. I get that my skill is below the curve of the top players. I’m playing on PS5, not PC. I know there are only high-grade players here with 3k+ hours. Skill issues, play D4 and all that.
But still — I’ve got over 1k hours since Season 1. I’ve never donated since crafting is basically a divine printer. I just wanted to point out that even builds with 75(85) res, chaos immunity, 1700 EV/ES armor, 1300 EV boots (with Deflection), 600 ES helm, and all T1 rings have HUGE issues with one-shots. I tried running with +3 boss points — nothing. Still getting one-shots. +2 is more stable, but missing one random attack can cost hours of progress on my XP curve. I’m not talking about facerolling bosses, but still — with high-end gear, you shouldn’t be getting one-shot. It’s just ridiculous. The balance is really bad. " There might be some content that you won't be able to do. Nothing wrong with that, and it doesn't mean you're a bad person. Don't use boss points in the Atlas, and run easier waystones, until you find the waystone level where you can consistently beat bosses. SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

i think its fine, but i did prefer rares for sure
will have to see how it plays out for next league when everyone is spending 2-5x longer in t1-t14 maps though |
