Forced boss fight ruining the game?

I died so many times since the last patch.
It seems like almost always, regardless of the modifiers, any boss can potentially one-shot me. I mean I don't complain the fact that GGG wanted the boss fight to be challenging. That's fine. I know some people enjoy it. And sure my control is bad. Sure I don't have the proper build maybe. Sure i dont know how to dodge the skill effectively. But the problem is that I HAVE to fight the boss on every single map, taking on the risk of dying one shot. I am FORCED to take on the high risk, losing my EXP. Some people. when they want to progress with level to 100. Some people just want to progress through the map, so we can find citadels for example. Maybe some want to hunt for rares. Some people like me, I'm sure they want to avoid boss fights. This one shot experience is really killing my gaming experience. I guess I will move on to torch light new season. Had fun this season. I am hoping they will make this optional like in POE1. I can't see any downside to just making it optional. |

bosses should be optional like they were before. i dont know why they forcing them now. not only that but they buffed their damage by at least 5 times how it used to be

It would be nice if you could finish map by either killing boss or killing all Rares.

how about improve on all the faults you acknowledge instead of request the game to change for your self admitted shortcoming

Simply mark the map as "completed" if you "fail" it (death or open new map).
Don't force us to re-run it as it is now (without juicing btw). |

There aren't that many bosses and they don't have that many abilities.
Watch what they do and just dodge guys. Just dodge their abilities. All of the things that are one-shotting you are dodge-able and you're just refusing to learn. |

"I like how dudes like you defending this shit. Dodge, skill issues etc. That's cool man. You can. But there're melee builds innthe game if you don't know. It's much harder to avoid bosses attacks on them. I have 800+d build on monk w defl, 7.3 es etc and still getting 1 shots from bosses. I don't know. Maybe this is a peack of gameplay for you. " I found fighting bosses as melee quite easy as they use basic attack most of the time instead of ranged special moves. And just because you bought expensive items for your monk it doesn't mean it's a good build. |
