Sukhemas map afflictions.

Trials are easy enough as it is now.
No need to nerf them further.

Just don't be greedy and go for the good nodes at the cost of picking bad nodes.

Like we need more ways to remove afflictions or change afflictions, or possibly have a choice between multiple afflictions per map

Do you use relics to reveal rooms?

Because using relics to reveal rooms accomplishes literally everything you just said.

My basic loadout is below and I basically never take an affliction I don't want or miss a boon that I do. I maximize my sacred water and by the end of the trial I've got all of the best boons. Like every time...

Just peek rooms. I've been responding to these threads for months and just saying the same thing. Just peek rooms. Peek rooms. If you peek rooms you will never be bothered by trials again.

I disagree, the Trial of sekhamas is probably the best content in the game so far. It really only has two downsides: farming coins is dumb, not much variation.

Wow, hot take, impressive.

I mean, do you like the normal game? Cause the normal game and sukhemas are very different. One you build around health, mana, energy shield, another you build around honor.

Its like they changed the system for absolutely no reason at all.

Unless they were purposely attempting to invalidate leech, recoup, thorns builds. Cause if you're running those, well, you're not getting your ascendancy.

That alone, specific builds being completely invalid for content- is hard trolling. Leech and recoup aren't even edge builds- even if they are, it doesn't matter. Its incompetent.

The peeking rooms thing- I mean sure, I usually see them coming and pick my path. Thats a thing, but its not a solution. Especially taking into consideration my overall point.

Plus, room vision can be denied, room types, room selection. Those are also often what you'll want to take to avoid worse afflictions.

You will still get lined up against x bad choices as well. I've had affliction walls 3 times on one floor before.

The worst thing is that you always have to start from floor 1.

Its just troll, the whole system is shit. Make ascendancy difficult to get, of course; but put it in the main game. I'm not playing this game for the trails. Both of them suuuuuuuuuuuuck ass.

I don't care if I can beat it. Its not fun to beat. Sure, 6 people will like it, great. There have been endless posts of complaints.

Heres the big tell. Take ascendancy out of it. How many people will play the trials? I bet its a looooowwwwww fucking percentage boys.

A low, low, get low, percentage. Single digit. I bet you 2%ish.

That's what makes it some of the best content. Normal maps are fun but the combat is just the same mindless slot machine over and over again. Sekhemas actually requires some strategic thinking and planning. It actually rewards skill and game knowledge.

Don't get hit. If you're melee things are difficult, but that's the fault of poor melee design and not the trial. Furthermore honor resist greatly boost your defense even if you're melee.

I'm not actually sure what your point is. It seems like you want the content to be nerfed. Or maybe you don't like being forced into bad afflictions??? If you don't like being forced into bad debuffs you must hate trial of chaos. At least you have some agency with Sekhemas. Chaos is only bad debuff after bad debuff with zero way to mitigate them. Worst you need three different keys to get your fourth asendancy.

And every time I see these post I'm confused. It's literally the only content (outside of boss fights) that isn't 90% gear. However, if you only want to grind for items and don't want the stress of failing because of a bad decision or lapse in attention, I guess I can understand why you might hate sekhemas.

It's fine if people don't like it. It's fine if a lot of people don't like it. That doesn't change my opinion. Personally it's the only content (again outside of boss fights) where combat is meaningful. It's one of the few times in this "game" where I actually feel like I'm playing a game and not pulling the crank on a slot machine.
