i have about 50k armor and i die easily from regular monsters

and i have on equips applied to elemtal damage so i have about 50k also for ele damage and 68% chaos res
and i die from some regular monsters not boss monsters 1~3 hits
i tried armor/evasion not going well then changed to evasion got 34k evasion with deflection was dieing 1 hit from bosses and not surviving well so i tried armor finally and i am at lvl 94 with 50k armor
i dk what else i can do ?!
please do something i losing passion for playing like this
i am not talking about how some builds do 133 mil dps and other do nothing comapred to that (my dps 100k in pob after all my effort) because i am focusing on defence in this forum post
i want do everything in the game but i can't i don't want be forced to play only meta builds what attracted my to the game the diversty that i can choose from but realisticly that not happening
i am sad and annoyed
hope you fix that soon i really hope you do that fast

So....a couple things because I'm not sure you are describing your own character correctly.

Biggest question is: what character and game are you talking about? Those numbers don't exist in PoE 2 as far as I'm aware....and you are posting in the PoE 2 forum.




1) When you say you have "applied to elemental damage", you have 100% armor applied to elemental? Does that even exist? And if that is the case, does it turn it off for physical damage?
If it works as you describe that would be.......obscenely powerful. Something is amiss here.

2) What are your resistances BESIDES chaos?

3) What regeneration or recuperation do you have outside of potions?


There could be sooooo many problems here that your post suggests ALL might be true because of how you described things.

I stand corrected my friend! You described your character exactly correct. My PoE 2 knowledge is far more limited than my PoE 1 knowledge.


The only thing I can think of is that you are dying to DoTs, which NONE of that does anything for (as they aren't hits). DoTs are going to require high health and recoup layers.


I'll admit, now that you showed me that I don't have the knowledge to give you correct information re: PoE 2. But based on what I know from PoE 1....your ehp and max hits are REALLY low. What I DON'T know is where that falls in the spectrum of "defense" for PoE 2.


I kind of agree though....with that kind of defensive focus on every piece of your gear, even without oodles of life you shouldn't be dying as frequently as you say you are.

Nope. I was wrong. At first glance and reading the post I thought he was talking about his PoE 1 characters.....hence, what I wrote at the top of the post. And my own misguided questions.

t15 with 6 mods , irradiated tablet
and it was not dot it was hits

and when i play with people higher than that i have no chance i find myself get 1 shot i don't even know from where and boss also 1 hit me

I haven't played Titan myself yet. The main difference I see between your character and the Titans in HC is that either (1) they have a lot more life and strength, or (2) they are taking Mind Over Matter, so mana takes damage before life. Either way, they have a larger health pool than you do.

I understand it must be frustrating to have such a good looking build and still die to white mobs.
