How Many Hours Should I Have To Play To Get A 20 Level Uncut Spirit Gem?

" I've runned (t16 + irradiation + powered by atlas points) maps so many times that I can't remember the number. I tried everything. BUT That's not the point! Why I should try hard to make the skills top level what is available in the game fundementally? Why??? |

I had one drop and sold it for a lot. Think like 3div. My character is lvl97.
I haven't run any T16s at all. So it must have come from a T15 +1 map with irradiated. Last edited by SaiyanZ#3112 on Oct 12, 2025, 3:55:51 PM

" Much less than a light omen, and the latter are lot more common (drop in the campaign, heck even Dialla's Desire drops in the campaign). Edit - I also share the opinion lvl20 gems just don't exist (unless you buy them), or vaal+1 and upgrade via lvl19. Last edited by bestsss#7863 on Oct 12, 2025, 5:21:19 PM

I don't see the problem of them being rare. In fact, I prefer that way

It is indeed a trade game for the most part, especially now with async trade. You may not like it, but the whole game is balanced around trade and has trade in mind It's how the game works. You can play SSF as a challenge to yourself, and it's not even hard to do, but it doesn't change the fact that it's indeed balanced around trade. And that's a good thing The fact you didn't drop a lvl 20 spirit gem is offset by trade existing, and also that not everyone needs a lvl 20 spirit gem like you (or even if they like the gem, they would rather get the money) This is good design. Not everything has to be made common exactly because trade exists and even if you didn't drop a spirit gem, dropping 3 divs is easy |

400 hours got only one... Pathetic possibilities to get one! No 👎 don't want to buy it. They drop only in High levels maps with delirium and full party...

" They're all totally different things that we would like to say. There is no problem about an ARPG that is balanced around the trade. That's already why I like and prefer the POE2. It's sth fundementally, basically this is a loot game; there are skill gems in the loot pool also, but you may not see them in a loot even whole the season or seaons and or years. So why are there? Skills, only skilss. Do you understand? I'm not talking about items, currencies or any other stuff. Skills, only skills what make it possible to play this game basically. Do you understand? Do you understand? Last edited by nkopuz#4657 on Oct 15, 2025, 5:45:17 PM

I don’t see the point of making a league that lasts only four months and making loot so rare that even when I play 12 hours a day for an entire month every league, I still can’t get what I want. The only place where I can get what I want is through trading. But once trading is involved, the game stops being a game where you’re happy about finding or crafting an item. With trading, it becomes a second job — after working all day to earn money for real life, now you grind currency for your build. Zero adventure, zero challenge, just pure currency grind.

Maybe GGG should rename themselves to GCG — Grinding Currency Games? Why do they have to be so stingy with loot that you can’t get what you want even after 360 hours of play? And not even close! On top of that, it’s still in early access, everything is broken and unbalanced, and patches should come at least once a week with major fixes. Not only does the loot drop system break, but they also make it even rarer, so overall it’s just an unplayable piece of code. And don’t even get me started on patch 0.3.1 — it completely ruined the spawn rate of content and the drop rate of tablets, which you now need to farm league content. I’ve run out of ritual tablets, and now I live without omens. Everyone’s already talking about this problem, but it’s been almost a month since that patch broke the game, and since then we’ve only had tiny updates that barely fixed anything. The game has a great concept, but absolutely terrible developer support. This is honestly the worst early access game I’ve ever played. Compared to this one, other early access titles feel like full releases. |
