GGG put max cap on MOVEMENT SPEED and DPS. This is the only guaranteed solution for OP builds!!

Anyone falling for this ragebait post should really re-evaluate their lives LMAO
Game is empty already.... I remember those good days past in patch 0.1.0 where everyone was satisfied. Players had unlimited options in breaking every rule with a way they was pleased. Nowadays game became playable only by fancy boys. 1-2 classes and that's all. Picking a pleased class isn't an option becouse sooner or later you will notice the astronomical difference... Even market was damaged enough that you can't find quality things you bought in patch 0.1.0. Keep going like that and vision will become a nightmare!

+1 Put caps to everything in game. This is not Poe1 playing with easy clicks and running like demons. The game can't be balanced perfectly with other ways. The is the simplest wether you like it or not. Learn to play the game with new rules or there is always the option of Poe1.

Caps are one way of doing it, but before that Poe2 needs to solve its identity crisis: as it stands the game encourages to break it by stacking mechanics to become a god, yet in the same vein that is prohibited by default for things like 100% evasion or 100% physical mitigation.

Why does this sanbox called Poe2 encourage zooming and the absurd scaling of damage and movement, yet prevents someone from playing an immovable tank with 100% physical mitigation?

Johnathan actually almost directly commented on this point during the 0.2 interview with Zizaran. He said that players enjoy building damage more than defense. Also they want to always be able to kill the player in some way. They're fine with you one-shotting everything, but not be immortal to everything.

So actually with these words there is no vision. Only a copy paste mechanism from Poe1.
Hard ceiling is not ideal, but even that is better than OP zooming stupid 1000% action speed builds that already exist.

I'm +1 on this
If Jonathan actually wanted a vision where meaningful fights will represented Poe2, then he would allow a poll to reveal the real wound in the game.
But seems to me that Jonathan plays a meta Char...

You can make a build that can tank pretty much everything except the few things from bosses that are guaranteed one-shots. ES recoup is the best way right now. Armour, evasion, pure life, all have something they miss or don't cover.

If GGG putted a cap to ES around 7k it wouldn't be so easy playing only with DPS META rules. BUT leaving some customers doing insane combinations with max protection...no this is not a game at all. Imagine a warrior player with 22k life and OP damage like meta builds! I DOUBT then if someone would choose to go for ES. Conditions of seperating customers to weak and strong brings the end of the game becouse not only the weak will abandon game but also strong due to the easiness of game too.
