quant is unplayable in 0.3.1 without previous tower setups from 0.3
because it is too small to really find much. maybe 4 div if you break everything down after 10 maps. the problem is the quant precursors are extremely rare, have insanely varied rolls, limited uses, and are awful to trade for. the price of these precursors will set you back well over 4 div, you might get 1 ideal 10% for 4 div if you are lucky |

" Towers actually had both useful and tedious aspects. This is because in Poe1, you could easily buff the map with Scarabs, while in Poe2, the potential of Tablets was very low. Before 0.3.1, even a casual player could farm a series of empty maps with just two or three towers, even with minimal tablet placement. After 0.3.1, you have to spend money before you can earn any. With 3 tablets, you have to spend 15 divs to get 30% Quantity (and will the maps actually give you 15 divs in return). They've trapped the game in a vicious cycle. Jonathan has always had a negative attitude towards Quantity, and I can honestly say he hates it. All he had to do was increase the Quantity of the Tablets and increase the number of Tablets we can place on maps to 6. |
