My 2-cents, I don't care if skins or sexy or un-sexy, let there be both.

What kind of irks me is the amount of skins that don't really "fit" into a PoE-theme. Call me old fashioned I guess, I prefer a touch of "realism" in my fantasy games.

I mean, I still get it, it's "fun" to be a goblin, and the line is blurry considering the eldritch-horror shit that tends to exist in the PoE-universe to consider what would even "fit".

However... it just seems like there's a lot of surreal, neon, absurd items that could be ripped out of an avante-garde space fashion-show.

My warrior doesn't need to be a green tribal goblin demon or multi-dimensional eldritch horror. Just some cool relatively earth-themed armour sets would be nice lol.

Also I'm pretty sure in PoE1 we have that red bandana and the second it's ported over to PoE2 people are going to use vanishing mtx with it on the warrior to recreate a higher-res version of the dancing Ricardo meme. Does it really get sexier than that?

Yeah it doesnt always have to be "sexy". But the "mystic edge knight" theme gets kinda boring. I'm just saying that we need WAY more variaty and sexy skins are a part of that.

Only thing that can be done is to boycott boring supporter packs/MTX armor cosmetics, etc. since they don't seem to be listening....or go play D4 if you can stomach it and pick Spiritborne or Sorceress and use any of the default gear...the Warlock stuff I saw was ..not to my tastes, but probably works for a lot of people.

that is exactly why i only bought 3 of them, and the ones i bought was not because of the armour, but only for the pets or the weapon skin or other.

EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. of the mtx on poe 2 are so boring, its always giga knight this, giga knight that. its like the concept artist who responsible to dish out these money making machine for GGG are either out of ideas or they dont get paid enough so they just write in prompt on AI image gen "Edgy knight, fantasy, intricate design, armour, (some flavor detail like bat like, dragon, golden thunder, etc)" and then call it a day. jesus christ.

example, the divinity one and the liberator of wraeclast one looks soo similar, the only thing that sets them apart is their cluttering VFX that induces epilepsy on a cosmic level.
