Speed imbalance

Just to give feedback after playing PoE 2 for the last few days.

I'm all for slow-paced games. Hell, I play turn-based games a lot. HOWEVER. In PoE 2, the only slow thing is my own character. The monsters, the elites, the bosses... All of them just run over to me and kill me (because survivability is kind of non-existent in this game, including in the form of proper movement skills).

I got to the end of act 4 and I just gave up. Logged back into PoE 1 and oh my god it is so much better. So much more fun.

Thats what im saying since EA Release if you wanna make a slow game make everything slower not just you.- If you want a fast game make the palyer fast too. If you do whatever POE2 is atm its not good. It reduces the fun you have.

just play deadeye. Get haste at a3, get croa at a4. Stack ms in endgame.

Overall i agree, the enemies can be slowed a bit. At least some of them.
Yet slow monsters makes ranged builds even more easier and stronger.
So there should be distinction between strong and fast monsters, it become really not fun to dodge 200% ms elites charging over you.

I don't know what croa is but if it's anything like those other things it has nothing to do with playing Deadeye.

surely, by deadeye i was referencing bot-right part of the tree. Croa is spirit-gem for +100% ms pet to ride

If you are dying from one shot - your build is bad or glass cannon. If you are slow - you have plenty ways to increase it from boots to many nodes, gems, charms and uniques. Overall seems you are bad at game dying constantly and don't understanding how to increase speed. And no, you don't need to be only deadeye. That only your problem, not developers.

saying GGG game doesn't have 1-shot problems is pure comedy and just tells me the person stating that is either running blue/white maps or just being disingenuous

that said, if OP is getting one-shotted in campaign he needs to get some res XD, nothing to do with his build

also poe1 doesn't even need gear for campaign, i made a thread a while back about Ruthless. no wonder OP is confuse

I WAS playing Deadeye... I considered rolling another character, but I don't think it would feel any better.
