When can I stop dying to sprint from dodging?

I'm so tired of this. There's several different ways this could be fixed tomorrow. Give it a toggle. Increase the delay. Put it on another button.

This is easily the most frustrating problem to date. I don't understand what other problems are taking priority over this.

Just had to pause the game and exit because I was about to die because of the moronic sprint kicking in after I dodge rolled. It's beyond annoying, and one of the dumbest things I've ever encountered on any game ever. This problem should definitely take priority over everything else. Because if they don't fix this, I'm done with this game.

It's not that easy. It's lag or something, or some other internal issue with the game and its controls. This is not a learn to play issue. It's a game problem. Just thank your lucky stars you're not having this issue, because it's annoying as all get out.

Then you should report that in the bug section of the forum. When this happens the next time, write "/bug [DESCRIPTION]" in the chat and post this with the bug number you got.

I'll try it, but I doubt it's a bug. My best guess is it's probably a lag issue with the game's controls.

What ever it is, it is causing a lot of players a lot of grief. They need to just let you turn sprint off, or let you bind it to a different key. There is no good reason to have sprint linked to dodge roll anyway.

If it's a lag issue, it most certainly is a bug that must be fixed. I don't know where and how you're playing, but I never experienced any of that on PC with WASD controls.

I prefer to have it that way because I don't want to have another key blocked, but yeah, it should be optional.

I use a controller, but I've seen plenty of people using keyboard and spacebar having the same problem. So it's not specific to either/or.

And I guess it depends on what you mean when you say bug. I'll rephrase, and say I don't think it's a specific coding issue. I think it's lag related and sometimes the processes stall long enough to trigger the sprint or something. It probably happens with all the buttons as well, it's just the others don't kill you when it happens.

This happens to me aswell. when i dodge i dont tap space, i press it. wich is long enough for the sprint to kick in and i get bodied sometimes from it.

I died like 5 times total to sprint and I blame me, not the game, for my mistakes, sure it could be polished but what we have currently can be managed.
