0.3 is the worst patch we've had thus far.
I disagree, this update is a massive step forward. It was a bad start but by only looking at the crafting changes they made the game a lot more interesting. The omens paired with abyssal crafting make it possible to deterministicaly crafting a lot of gear with a small rng part. Once they balance things out and change the endgame in 0.4 I can finally see this game getting out of EA.

nah, probably the best actually.
Crafting Melee Armour changes Support changes Act IV is a masterpiece .... Too much good to really focus on anything negative for me. Mash the clean

" I agree that it should be an option to put sprint on a separate button, but I prefer it that way because I'm very short on keys I can easily reach anyway. Otherwise, sprint is a good addition when used correctly. To end the sprint you can immediately attack, so no need to wait for the "sliding animation". It doesn't too make much sense to use it for traveling from one mob to the next, but it's great for backtracking within the map.[/quote] |

It's funny, because on paper, of course 0.3 is the best patch.
The only versions of the game we had so far were release 0.1, which I don't think really matters since that version, by design, would be incredibly unfinished. 0.2 which was absolute torture and one of the worst patches GGG has ever done. And now 0.3 which seemed to turn things around with some nice things, but certain others like early game balance, is completely broken. Sure, 0.3 is the best patch. It has 0 competition, because the only other states of the game were EA release and the worst patch in history. |

" My main contention was that the combination of "all modifiers are downsides now" (as opposed to prefix = upside, suffix = downside) and overly deadly modifiers makes a lot of maps unrunnable, and the waystone quantity nodes in the atlas tree don't do anything if your map isn't juiced to begin with. You provided me with a picture of you getting waystones in fully juiced maps. |

" Not sure what counts as "fully juiced." I literally just slap currency against a Waystone and run whatever comes up man. That's certainly not what I've come to understand people mean when they say that (none of those Waystones had max affixes nor were they Desecrated, Instilled, or Corrupted). Like, yes, 24% increased quantity is going to be underwhelming on its own, but unless you're regularly running white waystones on unmodified map nodes then I don't know why that matters. Are you regularly doing that? If so, why? Stop it. |

The Abyss rares are absolutely overtuned. It is incredibly boring to fight them, which is a shame as Abyss is ok as a concept and is reasonable in POE1.
Waystones mods are not fun either. Full agreement. You gotta think they'll fix sprint though. It's comical the way it works. |
