0.3 is the worst patch we've had thus far.

Disagree with so much here it’s funny. Game is in a much better state and you say weird things like sprint is a con.. Jesus.

Main issue is performance. After that it’s clarity, then it’s balance.

yeah the campaign rares are way harder than bosses.

This has been a thing for years. The rares are created semi-randomly, and every once in a while the dice roll so the monster has the exact attributes that eff up your build.
SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

not anymore, the rares spawn is very scripted in new content. they even behave the same- the rare im speaking of has a very specific behavior routine. its a mini boss that is yellow instead of gold. prob so ppl can raise those as specters.
I don't agree with most of the post. If you could learn to adapt to changes you would play different and get different results. They didn't buff all classes(regardless of claims), and campaign was easier only if you played the obvious meta builds. I had -10 to 20% resist in act 4 because of a lack of runes. So that wasn't fixed. I also didn't find almost any upgrades for my own class. Had gear 20 levels below my level that weren't getting replaced by drops. Thank God I finally unlocked Ange.

That said, my hope is that 0.4 completely removes the existing endgame and replaces it with something much better. An idea they actually have fleshed out over time and have fully developed out on paper before starting to work on it. The current placeholder endgame for EA has been bandaided as much as it can take to no avail.

Waystones, interlude acts, sprint, general view that the game is going in the wrong direction.
We’re not playing the same game at all it feels like.

Seems like it.
Yeah man sorry but .3 is the best patch thus far. the direction of the game is very exciting. They are keeping in line with the overall feel for the game while listening to player feedback. GGG is the goat.

the best patch out of all 2 we have gotten so far, and 0.2 was a huge reality check for people who thought the game will actually develop at the pace that ggg advertised pre-launch, amazing.
Disagree with the overall sentiment, 0.3 is most fun for me so far, particularly thanks to sprint. My only thought is that character/class balance is by far worse than it has ever been, and I'm not fond of the direction of skill design.

Specific disagreements:

I think sprint is great - it's made the campaign vastly more enjoyable. The weird momentum steering and punishing knockdown honestly just make running around more engaging from my perspective. If you just always run faster it's a non-mechanic...

Abyss rares are a brutal chaos resist check, reminiscent of Betrayal league release. I don't think they're inherently overtuned, but they are adding to gearing requirements. Capped chaos res has definitely gone from a luxury to a requirement in hardcore.
