If you buy without looking that is 100% your problem, ofc GGG won't help you.

They shouldn't need to hold your hand the entire time. No one wants them to address every issue of people not paying attention, as that would take away from things that are important and need to be addressed. Sorry but anyone who pays for the wrong thing can only blame themselves.

" Sometimes I think people in this game want everything automated and then cry about how it's not working, because it's automated and they can't be bothered using the thing in their head. |

Pretty easy to avoid by just typing the currency in the search window and it will highlight everything that uses "exalted" for instance.
Second Step is to actually look at what you are buying If you are buying bulk you bring it on yourself for not looking or using the toold available to avoid scams Last edited by xpose#1651 on Sep 10, 2025, 7:22:22 AM

The amount of fanboys that will say that it is a player problem is incredible. Here is some design solution that GGG could EASILY implement and solve the problem.
1. Add Tab Pricing, just like it was before they could allow to set the price for every item inside it, and when someone would buy in your store it would show right beside the tab name how much every single item in that tab is costing, so every player could be safe buying in bulk knowing that tab will only cost 1 ex. 2. Allow same items to be stacked, if a item have the same rolls, level and no modifiers, it could be allowed to be stacked in the same "Pile"(slot), and since it is in the same slot it will be price the same, so you could buy the entire slot without fear. (But since GGG is a greedy pig it wont happen because you would buy less tabs) 3. Add a border for the item that will change color depending of which currency he priced it. Any of these changes will happen? No because GGG is a Greedy Pig. |

" How is GGG greedy if they don't implement something you want? |

imo GGG has nothing to do with the fact that you do not pay attention.
Be more careful. Or play SSF. |

If the price spread is too high between identical items you bulk-buy, you could receive a warning pop-up...

They have a warning for the currency exchange so i wonder if they could build that in to the market tab as well. Honestly sounds like a lot of work because unless they are scraping and price checking every item you post they don't really know or decide what something is worth.
I guess a confirmation button set to on by default that you have to opt out of could work but its still just buyer beware and a skill issue at the end of the day. Maybe they could add a sellback feature similar to buyback for mechanics. You have like 15 seconds or something to put the item back before it locks? They could also make an escrow page. Where you put everything you want to buy into a different tab and once you hit confirm it gives you the option to see it all and what you are paying for each item in a quick list view before you hit accept. |
