Beware the new Scam! GGG won’t help you – you’re on your own.

OP admits he did not check prices.

This is a user issue. It sucks, but you got burned so now you know to check next time.

well to be fair, imagine going into the store and buying apples, most apples are priced like you would expect apples to cost but in the same bin you get same looking apples but they cost x100 more. you pay as soon as you pick them up (there is some stores that do that) no refunds, all sales are final

XD
OP, you are responsible here. You werent scammed. This is entirely your fault and ofcourse GGG wouldnt help you as the person who sold the things didnt do anything wrong.

You missed the bit where every apple clearly has a price tag on it, you just need to use your eyes.
Yes it's scammy behaviour but the problem is buying without reading.

yes except the price tag would have the same number just with a different currency marker XD
also i don't put blame here, but its clearly deceptive behavior, so saying its a 'user issue' is a bit dismissive. you got scammed, it sucks, be careful next time i think would be better approach here.

No. Ex is the base currency. Everything is converted into Ex.

If the price tag says 10 Ex, it it 10 Ex.
If the price tag says 10 Div, it is 1690 Ex.

1690 is higher than 10. So dont pick up the expensive one.

oooh i didn't know that, that should be easier to spot i agree. i thought it would follow the old pricing from premium tabs. so everything is converted to ex? ex being the 'gold standard'? interesting

Yah in In PoE 1 we use Chaos as the base currency.

PoE 2 (for now, last patch for a little bit it did swap to Chaos for a bit) Ex is the base currency everyone uses to value items.

So when you see somthing listed for 1 div, if you pull it out of the shop you will be charged for 1 div - but 1 div is worth right now 140 ex, so when you see 1 div you should think "this is priced at 140 ex, im not going to buy it, thats way to expensive".

You can see the current exchange rate between any currencies in the currency exchange.
