SCRIPTED ONE SHOTS THAT REQUIRE PRIOR KNOWLEDGE TO AVOID
Dear GGG,
Please make a list of all the bullsh*t one shots, thanks. Preferably an ingame pop-up when you create a hardcore character that says hey we got river hags in act 3, we think it's realistic that your character can drown and no you can't increase your lung capacity, we got a ship in act 4 that will blow you up to pieces and no you can't have ship explosion resist, there's a boss that can drop buildings on you and it's not clear where to stand to be safe and no you can't have enough life to survive that. If you think one shots are cool and make fights epic or whatever at least find a way to warn the player of them. Thanks. " Doesn't matter a slam is meant to kill him. He stood in a slam and he didn't move. Dys an sohm

" That would have been my second question. "Oh no, the bigass bloater who's literally 5 times the size of me and is holding a fucking tree as a weapon with a windup-time of 3 seconds, is one-shotting me! Oh woe oh me, the devs are garbage, this game is crap and unbalanced". Always the games fault. Love these people xD |

" Your character is literally saying "I should get off the ship, before it explodes!". The fuse is like 20s long. Maybe pay attention to the game, instead of watching TV and playing on the side. Kek. |

" I had more than 5.5k hp + es when Benedictus dropped rocks on me. I don't think it matters, unlike some hard hitting slams that one is meant to one shot no matter what. Read the title again. This isn't about monkey. |

" Yeah well they should have told me they got stuff like that in the game. Wouldn't hurt you if GGG made a list of bullsh*t scripted one shots, would it? That's all I ask, for them to inform me about what kind of game it is before I play. |

Also there are huge meteors falling on the characters, they get smashed with stone pillars, a giant skeleton slams them with his giant burning skull dude.
And a bunch of explosives just one-shots you? There are explosive mine carts in act 2 mine that just deal fire damage. There are expedition explosives that do jacksh*t because they're 'friendly' I guess? This isn't the genre where you dodge stuff and hop over deep chasms of lava. And if it is they should tell me so, so taht I look elsewhere for an arpg. Simple. |

And Dannig also shouts for you to stay back when you detonate. What? Should I expect any explosive to just kill me?
The mercenary can literally shoot himself with a bunch of grenades and a rocket. Does he die instantly? No. Why would I fear explosives specifically. Even if my character shouts And the ship isn't even the thing I ripped to. It was Benedictus when he dropped rocks on me. Just one shot, I doubt it is survivable at all because I think this attack also shrinks the arena. And it's unclear on where to be to survive. I mean this is dumb even for softcore. Death in this game doesn't serve any purpose. You're supposed to die in Dark Souls to see more of the story. You're supposed to die in many roguelites to level up. In this game death is purely detrimental in every way both on SC and HC. IT SHOULDN'T REQUIRE PRIOR GAME KNOWLEDGE TO BE AVOIDED PERIOD. This is outdated and dumb. At least warn the player that the game isn't always fair and doesn't always follow its own rules of life, damage and other stats, that sometimes there are hard-scripted deaths. |

So yeah, IF there's a hard-scripted death event ahead and I need to know of it beforehand to avoid it, then give me said knowledge. It's the game's job I think to do it, not some third party website's.
