BUG Frequent 20-30 Game Freeze + map reset (multiple players affected).

I've now downgraded to 571.88 using Nvidia's procedure for driver deletion and reinstall, and while it looked like the issue went away, I was able to reproduce the issue (activating a breach triggered the soft-crash). So it's definitely not driver related, but something to do with the game engine's handling of DX12. My next step will be to swap to the latest Nvidia driver and switch from DX12 to Vulkan, and verify if the issue still happens with that API.

Just tried some hours running 576.88 and Vulkan API and no cog of death issues. Performance is lower than DX12 yes, but no freezing at all.
Same issue, happens almost every map. 7800x3d/4060/32gb, all uptodate, no issues in other games. Not yet tried Vulkan cus it always runs so much worse. Game otherwise runs flawlessly at 4k 60fps using dlss "ultra performance". Most of the time it happens when a huge amount of effects are on screen but ive also had it just opening the map.

Every post i see with this issue is on Ryzen with Nvidia. Any Intel users with this problem? I was also one of the thousands of players that had hard PC crashes on load screens in 0.1 but have not had it since they implemented a fix.

Sigh..

Please, if anything this is THE KILLER problem for the game. For me, about 25% of the freeze happens when I move onto the hand for Breach to start. Obviously, this also means death is inevitable - no way to see/kill the swarm that comes once game 're-connects'. Other occasions its just moving, fighting pack of monsters, etc.

On a whim, I change from Direct X12 to Vulkan. OMG - now the game won't even start! The launch screen Grinding Gear shows and then game completely freezes. Great!!

As I type, I'm hoping reinstalling the game will at least get me into the game. Otherwise, I have a BRICKED game!!
