That is 100% the same with the new system, only worse.

You still need to engage real money to buy the merchant stash tab, and you have even less knowledge of the price of the item (can't use a dump tab pricing method). You'll either learn you can use / or you'll learn about the website, there is zero difference there in that you just need to know it exists.

I guess by community you mean the "buyer goes to seller, waiting for trade invite" which is valid if that's what you mean. But, it's also pretty common sense IMO, no one had to teach it to me it just made sense that I would go to the person that is selling the item and they would let me know when they're ready.

Still plenty of ways to get scammed with the new system, Sir Gog did a whole video about potential scam methods.

Thinking it's unacceptable to have to speak to another person to conduct business with them is irrational, and it has nothing to do with being scared. Only the seller has to interrupt their mapping, the buyer is already interrupted because they are trying to buy something (same in the old and the new systems). For the buyer the new system may be faster (assuming what you want is available, and someone else doesn't grab it first) but it's still a break in mapping... not even really an interruption though, it's part of the game.

The new trade system is fast and reliable and much much much MUCH better than prevoius one. Now I get every item i want to buy not just one in five because four people don't whisper back.

A market has stock, aka how many items are listed at an instant and flow, aka how many items are listed or sold per unit time. Async trade increases flow and turnover, and high turnover can make the visible stock look small even if total supply over a day is large

Judging scarcity from a single look at the market is something we call sampling bias in economics
