Yet again a deadeye league
I play dead eye and honestly it doesn't fare much better. I can never enter abyss because i die 100%. During the campaign i managed to get by with crap gear but once i reached maps it all came to a full stop.
I hate all the mobs in this game. You sit there shooting up the screen and mobs spawn from below, behind, above and other mobs jump and teleport at you instantly killing you. Not to mention the plethora of shield mobs. Rares in maps no longer drop anything, campaign was a bait and switch. I am sitting at negative resistances and no good weapon. I need lvl 75 to equip any useful item from trade and T1 maps give next to no xp. I guess as a streamer you just grind and push through but i can't do it. It's just not fun. I think i will quit the league if not the game entirely. Last edited by Chimmy81#7163 on Sep 7, 2025, 1:27:50 AM

Spoiler
" yup the game says EA yet the devs are acting like it is a fully released game with the usual season/league cycle instead we should be seeing more regular updates focusing on core gameplay, content and QOL features they should get one class where they want it to be in terms of power then balance around that baseline what we are getting is nerfs/buffs to kill builds and create new FOTM builds. Exactly like you would do in a fully released game.they could claim EA forever at the rate they ate going. why cant they just let the players have fun and focus on the things i mentioned with the caveat that once they establish a baseline there will be major buffs/nerfs. " nope, thx \but buffing ascendancies will kill build variety even more than disbalance. Because ascendancies are N1 reason of disbalance. Also, buffing free acsess to power (ascendancies doesnt cost you gem slots/doesnt cost you gear slots/doesnt cost you passive points) - the game balance will be thrown into window few leagues later while new power scalings (craft/uniques) come into game. |

I don't agree with you on that one.
I believe skill balancing is the primary issue, as we sit currently, the ascendancies barely feel impactful and I think that's a problem... you're "ascending" and it doesn't feel like we are. I got the sauce.
POE1 & 2 enjoyer. |

People play what they are more comfortable with. And it is NOT combo builds. Monster density is at an all-time high thanks to Abyss, do they expect us to Parry or chain 3 skills before we start dealing damage? Haha

" The original poster has a point. Choosing to run a broken S-tier willingly is a player choice. However if you take the easy way out, there's a downside. But you also have a point. Players naturally gravitate to broken builds because they wanna zoom on things. Why bother take the hard way when you can make it the easy way, but remember there's risk with this principle. In my opinion, you don't need to run broken meta builds to do endgame but if you want things to be a handout then there is an easy way. Your fun, his fun, and my fun will not ALWAYS be the same. You will be surprised how PoE fanatics keep bashing games like D4 and how they keep bragging oh this is just early access and there's more to come. The ironic part is now I am part of the community (I still play D4) and you guys within here are also throwing the same jab within the same community. I thought this EA jabbing toxicity was just a way to prove games D4 is bad but it turns out this is really just PoE's culture. Last edited by BigBoom9240#8803 on Sep 7, 2025, 6:54:33 AM

I really don't see what's so OP with deadeye...the nodes are OKAY but that's about it...nothing OP about it. Monk has been very good since 0.1 and for some reason people don'T play them, let alone report on them? People say 95% skills are useles...have you tried them? because a lot of stuff is underrated.
" Well, D4 IS bad, on so many levels, it's not a PoE thing...people said the same with D3. OG arpg fans usually don't like D3 and D4 and consider D2 the peak of the series. Tech guy Last edited by Warrax#2850 on Sep 7, 2025, 8:38:12 AM

I had an abyss today spawn multiple rares of the fast moving spear type at once on my sorc, that map was bricked as they blocked a corridor. How would a deadeye or any other class deal with this?
What about the multiple variants that spawn tiny green crystals that do huge damage, or the types that teleport on you and explode/burn ground? Just seems like another league of defense is kinda pointless, shit needs to die before its on screen at this point eh. But in saying that they have designed the areas to be choke points/closed in so you are forced into melee half the time. Last edited by gr0o0ve#1473 on Sep 7, 2025, 9:44:29 AM

Defenses are indeed pointless as far as Abyss is concerned. My fourth death was the result of exploding stuff + ground effects. Ate through 5K life + ES in about a second or two, so fast I could barely click on a potion before I died. Unless you are rocking a Lich with 20k+ ES it is better to simply clear fast.
