Just saw a bot sniping...

I want bots and RMT not to exist, but i don't want to sacrifice the economy for it. Being a crater or trader is and should be a viable way to play the game.

I also think it's kind of funny that this thread is assuming bots are sophisticated enough for trade, but somehow not sophisticated enough to run a few maps to keep trading. I find every solution offered for this end up hiring individuals more than the big RMT groups who can pool their effort to overcome the be obstacle way easier than I could alone

Exactly this, and you represent the vast majority of the player base, including myself.
So how would a 100% anonymous item trade stop crafters or traders? Seller gets to sell, buyers get to buy, crafters get to craft, botters and rmt can get bent. You already have anonymous currency exchange. What's the barrier?
I'm the one that bought the jewel btw.

You going to call me a bot? Bahaha

Pretty sure by now, there are trade bots to snipe heavy belts. The only variable is the user's internet. If you're near GGG main server, noone will be able to outsnipe you just because you will see the item appear 10 secs before anyone else. Thats why, when you see an item appear on your filter, its already gone.

Sadly, i dont think there is a legit fix to this issue or at least i cant think of one.

Every league will be the same, it was stellar amulets, sapphire rings, and now heavy belts. Only way perhaps, will be to make those items worthless.
Vegetarian - Ancient tribal slang for the village idiot who cant hunt, fish or ride.
Lowballer - Ancient tribal slang for a total waste of time, and hence, will be totally and utterly ignored.

I'm a very regular human being with below-average reaction time and a standard internet connection and all the items you mentioned were absolutely critical sources of income for me in every league so like maybe the best thing you could do here is to stop caring so much about what bots are doing? Like

I don't know man literally who gives a shit if some bots buy some heavy belts? Congrats you made these items worthless you beat the bots! But now I can't sell them anymore and the absence of bots hasn't made the game any more enjoyable for me so what exactly did you accomplish?

I like the evidence you provided for both - given scenario happening and the "bot" being a bot.
