so many whiners and crybabies complaining about the game

These games aren’t challenging though, you can choose to breeze through them. This league would be absolutely cooked to death charred black if LA and EDC were trash. Casters are a struggle bus all the way to maps unless you get lucky or use the trade site before act 4. Who thought one class should have range, cc, one shot, no move penalty, more move speed, and more clear than all the other ones? Before someone tell me one more time that what other people play doesn’t affect me, let me play offline without the economy and with mods. As long as the game is always online, class balance needs to be a priority. This is supposed to be an RPG, not archer quest. It’s also painfully obvious they don’t play test their own changes beyond a few minutes. Having most of your character damage come from gear is also silly. They can’t retain players because unless you are an economy spreadsheet player or an archer player, the game feels awful to play.
ok well done 0 deaths now play sorc and don't follow a guide.

Really kicked a hornet's nest with this one.

For what it's worth, I played PoE1 since the very beginning, have thousands of hours in it, and I think PoE2 is the better - and more challenging - game.

It's not necessarily more "difficult" per se, just more challenging in that PoE2 requires you to know how to build, and how to play, whereas in PoE1 you can build a toon to be so powerful around one particular skill that the 'play' portion is muted to the point of turning the game into a meth-infused version of a seizure-inducing cookie-clicker casino.

Some people like figuring out puzzles, and other people only see puzzles as roadblocks on the way to cosplaying as a casino-god.

Someone should tell them that they depend on puzzle-solvers staying interested in a challenging game, because after-all, someone has to come up with their casino-god builds - and they're too busy pestering the devs to make the game easier to do that themselves.

That's your opinion and I'm good with it.
But when you never killed exarch nor eater (and by extension nothing beyond that), I can't really take you seriously regarding the powerful build in PoE1 being easy.

Obviously you will find it easy if you don't challenge yourself to harder content, and the same applies to PoE2. You will also demolish everything if you overlevel/overgear/ stay in T1 maps. PoE2 isn't hard, it's just slower paced (and severely imbalanced, but it's another topic, and let's hope it'll get better in the future).
