so many whiners and crybabies complaining about the game
I find it dismaying that when ggg is trying their best to make poe2 to be the best arpg, there are so many whiners and crybabies out there complaining about the game.
I see people crying that this has been nerfed, that has been nerfed, their favorite build has been nerfed, they have zero damage now, they have zero defense now. The mobs are too difficult. Bosses are too hard. Trials are too difficult. It's too troublesome and time consuming to go through act one, act two, act three again. The areas and zones are too big. Too much traveling and walking from place to place. So many complains about this and so many complains about that. It is also as if all these people are expecting rewards and achievements to instantly drop from the sky by pressing a button. People don't want to face challenges. Peoples don't want to handle difficulties. People don't want to learn the game. People want things to remain the same forever. People want future things to be the same as past things. People cannot handle it when there are changes and the meta is changed. And yet when I check the leaderboard, there are already players who reach above level 90 and the weekend is still not over yet. I myself try out the game and I just completed act one with zero death. (screen shot is below) My suggestion to all the complainers is that instead of spending time whining and complaining, it would be better that you spend time learning the game. There are many streamers and content providers out there offering to create guides to teach players how to play the game. And it is all free. You don't need to spend money to learn how to play the game. All you need is time, effort and the dedication to do it. Please stop asking ggg to make the game easier. If the game becomes easier, then it is no better than playing hello kitty online. A lot of players want to play a real arpg. They don't want to play hello kitty online. If you want things to be quick, fast and easy, then why play poe2? Why waste your time and waste everybody's time to complain about game and ask the dev to make the game easier? Why not spend time to improve yourself and gain some knowledge so that you can play the game better? ![]() 34pre98qua Last bumped on Sep 3, 2025, 9:19:14 PM

There's a fine balance. I'm tolerating the difficulty and feeling genuinely rewarded for getting past certain bosses - BUT it is heartbreaking to see my guildies quit before finishing Act 2 because they picked a non-meta skill. They will probably never see the cool parts of this game and that's really really unfortunate. I don't think it would hurt the game to be a little easier.
*Never forgetting how good this game looked at 32:9 instead of 1/3 of my screen being black bars.*

Nah you don't learn how to build your character in this game. The Devs spell it out for you in the skill descriptions explaining the shallow baked in skill synergies. People who play "real arpgs" want to experiment and find their own synergies. The requirements for a good arpg is considered by most people to be in the depth of it's mechanics and build variety, specific difficulty is not part of those requirements. You'd probably find that if you ramped up the difficulty of Minecraft dungeons, it would feel almost identical Poe2.
Trying to make the game "difficult", Or perhaps more accurately trying to awkwardly use difficulty to enforce the use of shallow skill synergies, simply because the Devs don't like one button builds. is going to seriously damage this game. Last edited by stecheese1#0850 on Aug 31, 2025, 2:42:57 PM

It always amuses me when someone makes a whiny post about people whining

Your post is meaningless without showing level gear and tree.

It's the cancer that is this day and age. They're been programmed to think that everything in the world is supposed to be for them, and if it's not then yell as loud as you can until someone caters to them. My advice is never use these forums or Reddit...the people here especially are either paid trolls or actually have zero life.
They want the gameplay of Last Epoch and POE1...yet I'll just leave this link here to show that's not what they want, they want everyone to be miserable because they don't want to put effort into the game. https://imgur.com/fGt92Og Last edited by Seanprice798#2395 on Aug 31, 2025, 3:46:19 PM

" Nope. Still not it. Allow me to simply this. Why can’t I use herald of plague on my spell build? Take all the time you need. Stuff like this is the epitome of the issues with this game. Last edited by Skyvortex#7923 on Aug 31, 2025, 3:52:18 PM

" I don't know as I have never tried so can't confirm, deny, or give advice. If that's what's causing you to crash out on the forums then I'd wager a guess you've got bigger issues than that going on in your life. Please get some perspective. GGG put substantial work into this league and added/changed/fixed nearly all of the major things people would whine about the first go around. How about a little appreciation for the work and understand that they will continue to tweak and alter things as the game goes on. The world does in fact not revolve around your every whim and want. The issue is they are trying to appeal to two types of audiences in one game.
First you have the "No rest for the wicked" or "Souls" type game. This is the campaign part where these types of people have no problem playing 48hours to complete the campaign with a bad and clunky build. Second is all the grinders who don't care about the campaign and want to have builds that don't feel clunky to use, that don't constantly requires a dodge roll and timing to hit an enemy with a noodle to gain combo points for their other skill that does more damage that then gets negated because a crevice from the abyss ate the slam. These people want fluid game play and grinding. Fun is subjective and in this game the first type of player can have fun from the start, because it's the souls type game they wanted(not hard.. but slow and tedious). The other group of players cant have fun until they first complete the campaign with the clunky stuff Rogers wants people to go through. Looking at the numbers from before the patch, there's about 8-14k players that enjoy the souls / No rest for the wicked gameplay. The other 300k that is currently playing is trying to get to the grind part which isn't flushed out yet. |
