My account disappeared
My English is not good
I bought the POE2 beta test qualification on April 30th of this year. I played for about one or two months and then stopped playing. When I logged in today, I found that I couldn't log in and it showed invalid login. I registered a new account with the email address I registered before and it was approved. This is incomprehensible. It means that the qualification I purchased before and my character and everything on my account are gone. The problem is that I can still find the record of logging into the game before and the electronic invoice of my purchase qualification in my mailbox. Do I have to buy the qualification again now? This is unacceptable. I provided evidence and my previous ID to the official email address but no one responded. |

Please do not post purchase history and login history on the forum. If you did not include this information in the previous email you sent us, please let us know over email. Unfortunately, this is not something we can help you with on the forums.

Unless something improves massively, don't expect to get your account recovered until next year. Account recovery is the slowest and most dysfunctional thing support is actually doing. It's the disgraceful posterchild for something that was bad even before POE2 went live and one of the few things that hasn't shown signs of improvement or catching up since then.
Low level support will be able to quickly send 1 or 2 preliminary messages out to get information. After that the wheels fall off the process because everything will need to go through a senior staff member who is either overwhelmed by the number of account recovery requests being processed or has some other tasks that take up the majority of their time leaving account ownership issues as a very low priority task. Regardless of what is the cause the reality has been 4-6 weeks between each message sent on GGG's part and 4+ month resolution times. Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? |
