With the way Hollow Palm Technique is worded as counting as using a quarterstaff while unarmed, I assume that it means you can only use quarterstaff skills or melee skills without a mace/spear tag.
If so, that's kinda lame. I would love it if we could use more melee skills with Hollow Palm Technique, like Volcanic Fissure.

fix to WASD movement and dodge roll getting stuck and causing desync on any and everything when?
fix to act 1 boss casting multiple "oneshot" spells at the same time and out of sync with the voice line when?
just played through act 1 after months and the game is honestly barely playable on WASD.
the changes look over the top awesome but if its gonna work as bad as it does now its still poe 2/10

no changes to trials = no coming back for me or any of my friends. trials suck and we hate them so much we'd rather never play again if they don't change.
Instead of hating the trials, try to get used to it. The trials are easy when you get used it. I used to hate as well, then I learned it and now I'm actually liking it.
You really need to be super duper insanely bad at the game to fail trials. Even in 0.2 which was considered the most hardest league of all time, I easily got all my ascendancy points even easier and earlier than my 0.1.0 character.
They will not remove or change trials, better get used to it.
I think trials will depend a lot on what is the third trials option. I do get that some people feel the Sekhma one to be unfair to melee classes and they feel bad for having to wait another act to do their own trial.

I played totem Warbringer I know how all hits block works from having 0.2 turtle charm. and I'd say its not enough because even with Svalinn 88% effective block chance I can still dies to some random b*llshit from bosses that can one-shot me. and now you're saying its fine for having 50% max block chance in exchange of giving this passive to every classes ? on top of less life if using Giants blood ? on top of always taken 30% blocked damage if I take new turtle charm for max 75% block ?
oh, and in case you don't know. 50%(40%) max block chance with svalinn is about 64% EB and 75%(65%)=87.75% EB for new turtle charm but will always taken 30% blocked damage all the time and still have chance to taken full damage that can one-shot me dead anyway if not blocked meaning its getting worse not better.
not knowing is truly bliss, I'd say. and now you've known.

All attacks were blockable before XD so now it's not that block is better it's block is worse and shield suck, nothing else to be said, they reverted to poe1 block from before the latest block rework. Block is only good for es now
No.. vertical attacks were not. and also several others. Not statign is WORTH the trade. jsut statign that there is a change.

The Gore Spike Passive Skill now grants 1% increased Critical Damage Bonus per 50 Life (previously 40), and has swapped locations with the Sunder the Flesh Notable Passive Skill.
Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious, but I can't think of a reason why swapping the location of Gore Spike and Sunder the Flesh isn't a negative for build diversity with virtually no benefit anywhere else.
Very few Witch builds take Sunder the Flesh as it only really benefits Detonate Dead and maybe Hexblast from the Occult skills. Most other damaging Occult spells already have a 15% crit chance, and quite a few of the Elemental skills are 11-13% already so wouldn't benefit a huge amount. In fact, scanning through poe2.ninja, Sunder the Flesh seems to really only be taken for Spark & COC Arc. Those builds already get some benefit from Gore Spike, even if they may not really want it, so the node isn't a total waste.
Yes, Lightning Spear Blood Mage was very strong in Dawn of the Hunt, but Lightning Spear is already getting balanced down, and only half of those LS Blood Mages took Gore Spike anyway.
A Witch ascendency node that's primarily used by only one or two Elemental lightning spells being an inefficient prerequisite for a node that's useful to multiple Occult / Elemental spells AND some attack builds doesn't seem consistent with a patch that's aiming to improve build diversity.
If Gore Spike is specifically intended to only be used with spells rather than, for example, a gory spike (i.e., a spear), then it could be changed to grant increased Critical Spell Damage Bonus instead. There are already a few nodes like that in the Witch/Sorc part of the tree. At the very least, Sunder the Flesh could be changed to grant +5% critical strike chance to spells so that spells like Bone Storm / Bone Cage (i.e., spells that conjure gory spikes) that already have a 15% crit chance get some benefit from taking it.
