Even after the story update and some of the crafting changes thanks to Abyss, I feel patch 0.3 has been the most underwhelming since the update.
The game still needs urgent class and skill balance to avoid the meta shifting toward just one or two classes. Atlas feels dull, random, and lacks the depth of POE1, with the RNG currency and item farming feeling somewhat low effort. The citadel aspect can simply be described as boring and the cluster-tower strategy often feels more like a chore than an enjoyable experience. Additionally, the game's development pace seems slow, with much of the content in 0.3 already previewed before release, and I don't believe it will be near 1.0 before 2027. |
