[3.28] Fire Trap of Blasting - tanky, all content

Bump, as patch notes are known. No major changes, still viable, stil off-meta and (hopefully) cheap.

Funny, I was looking for builds and cool things to try. Im a casual player and returning after many leagues.

The only 2 builds that really caught my attention are this one and some frostblink totem that claims can scale to 120m+ dps.

I really like both. Just realized are all yours haha. There must be a reason! Maybe I like off meta builds. And also traps. The only time I cleared all content was with some low life lightning traps years ago. And also Im a bit intimidated by meta builds. I never really understood how to make thousands of divines or mirrors in a league like most people figured out by now.

I hope i can make it again with your builds!

Hello. If you're returning player, I strongly recommend this build instead of Frostblink Totems. It's more tanky, more forgiving and better suited for re-learning the game. And first of all, have fun this league :)

Made a spreadsheet of every ascendancy I leveled before including already deleted characters (thx ggg for giving me list). Looks like Ascendant is my least played and then ranger. No real ranger ones I wanna try that I haven't played before and I played fire trap before it was used with RF so should be decent.

PoB looks very solid and items super easy to get lmao. Grateful the leveling section doesn't say use rolling smegma until fire trap of blasting entering maps or something gay like that. Get to actually use the skill to level with from the start almost :D.

P.S- who remembers playing fire trap back in the old days when it was Pohx's goto skill instead of RF? LMAO.

Ok, PoBs updated to 3.28. It also looks that they added special kind of Vaal Orb that can change numeric values on unique items. Hope it won't be prohibitively expensive, getting above 30% reduced damage would actually be very big buff to survivability.

Fun build > playing meta. And fun isn't mutually exclusive with being strong and clearing all content. This league I'm gonna make Will of the Lords work, lol.

I remember leveling with Fire Trap + Elemental Proliferation back in double dipping days, it was very comfortable experience.
