Valdo/voidborn is the reason why boss kill is dead

Progenesis 105 flask listed right now
80 foiled they were not received from the boss

Nimis 196 listed
146 foiled

This is absurd. Why is the core boss drop mostly NOT FROM THE BOSS?
Uber bosses are already dead after a week of the league.

and yet they remain super expensive.

They are not. If you compare the price of the boss and the best drop, they should cost much more. So that there is a point in farming them. The chance of a drop in this league is significantly lower for Progenesis, and it costs almost the same money as in the previous league (the boss costs like a maven from the previous league). Eater of worlds is even worse, 40 divine nimis with a boss price of 2.5, the ring drops at about 3%. Try to find a point in farming it? (there is none)
i think the only way you should be able to get a foiled version of a boss unique is from the specific key that drops from that boss. ive had keys from say eater that drop a foiled eater item right?

surely that should be the only way to get them? ive never looked into it i thought thats how you got foiled ones otherwise why would they have that mechanic?

same with div cards, no div card should be allowed to give a boss drop unless it drops from that boss content. im sure this conversation has been had and the devs have acknowledged this sort of thing before?
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
While I generally agree that it is an issue with most of these drops coming from foil sources it is not the reason some of the fragments feel barely profitable. We had this issue even before Valdos were a thing.

The reason specifically Eater, Exarch an Maven feel "bad" is still because of 1-servertick bossfarmers going exclusively for the very lucky drops like awak. enlighten. The fragments are priced around players doing 100-200 kills/hour, not Valdofarmers.

That's why you'll feel way less RNG on bosses like Shaper, Sirus and UUElder despite the big drops being even more available through Valdos.

Fragment prices adjust to the value of boss farm. It's only an issue for people to get uber boss drop items on day 1 of league before anyone has killed the bosses.
Both valdos and voidborn keys are baaaaaaaaaaad game design.
However, unfortunately there is real money revenue for Tencent involved, so we can complain but nothing's gonna change, sadge
I agree, it's bad game design.

The keys should've been designed like fragment/scarabs that you throw in the map device alongside the boss fragment(s) if you really want a foiled version for some reason, where whatever unique drops from the boss is a foiled version of that unique.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
