Great but Focused Channelling support is still broken.

Good changes. Better late than never, but I think T16.5 with 8 T17 mods and Unravelling Orb on a multicrafted item already breaks the league.

Harvest was literally good for casuals like you too, it let people incrementally upgrade their items over the course of the entire league. It was a strong league for ""blatant exploiters"" too, but ppl like you would have profited the most from it staying core

Absolutely terrible change to memory maps dropping with full t17 mods. Everyone was enjoying the change after over a year of t17 farm. Now, it's back to the same as it was before. Also horrible for people who invested in builds designed for the memory map farm. Just look at all those mirror items going up on trade or build sales.

the irony of a guy who has barely played the league saying this. L

I did the 16.5 strat and a few things became glaringly clear to me throughout the process. I think it probably wasn't on purpose but to wait 3 weeks in and completely throw a wrench in the economy is a bit strange and makes me miss the pre-delirium days when you left stuff in until the end of the league (unless caught super early) that isn't game breaking (dunes breach/beyond aside on some people's computers). The things that became clear are the following:

1. Ground loot is in a terrible state.

500%+ currency quant
400%+ base quant

You might get a couple divines you might not. People see fubgun's videos and are like "omg they are printing" when in fact he is showing the highest juice possible that he ran and got lucky.

2. T17 maps are bad and the consistent doubling down is kind of confusing.

The layouts in these maps do not make any sense compared to what the player base seems to want based on favoured map choices. (You have a stats/data guy this should be obvious). 16.5s showed me that the 16 tiers of maps you already have are good enough and when you throw t17 into the mix it just doesn't make sense to me. Fortress being the only one of them to have barrels which drop a high variance of currency is also a strange choice.

3. Fun.

Interesting strats and pushing the boundaries of the game is what makes veteran players and streamers come back to this game. I do believe that a balance needs to be struck but difficult content that players can build around is a necessary thing to keep people coming back. Rogue exiles was/is extremely difficult but profitable. 16.5 8-mod was interesting to try and tailor your build at end-game to deal with the mods and due to ground loot will probably be profitable. Running strongboxes in every league is by no means fun to me when it is literally the same content every time.

were like what 17 days in nerfing something thats apparently a "bug" when this would have been noticeable if they test ran a singular map prior to launch lmfao.. what are you guys even doing over there? I swear you all hired some failed blizzard employee a few years back whos just been sabotaging you at every turn.
