Game freezing only on Directx 12
same here.
The game freezes regardless of high or low game load. Although the frequency is low, it is annoying when the game freezes at an important time. I almost lost 6 rank 5 sailors. |

+1 same,
5800x3d, 3080ti, newest driver. | |
In my case, the freezing is fixed by disabling multifreading option, but this is not acceptable.

Nvidia drivers have been having issues under dx12 for over a month now. This isn't something GGG is going to be able to fix, all they can do is join the chorus of other game devs trying to pressure nshitia to actually do their jobs and fix the problem with their garbage drivers.

" Same here, I observed the GPU usage drops to 0% for the freeze period and starts once the "crash" is over and the minimap is reset, not sure if it is any important. I have been getting periodical freezes too, sometimes it just starts randomly, other times when I encounter a specific mob, but once it starts, it won't stop. During these periodical freezes I observe a CPU latency and usage spike, while the GPU usage drops. No other app pops up which would steal the CPU from the game, network is stable, ping is stable. Also a sudden CPU core temperature increase is observed and instantly drops after the spike. CPU: i9 11900kf GPU: RTX 3060 12GB RAM: 32GB OS: Windows 11 Pro Drivers: Up to date |

3.26.0d Hotfix 4 - Path of Exile
Increased the memory limit of the DirectX12 renderer. This can help cases where assets keep reloading in performance-heavy situations, such as in Blight-ravaged maps. Maybe it helps??? Someone tested? |
