Game freezing only on Directx 12

The game randomly freezes, black screens and reloads all assets only on Directx 12. This is not happening only in high intensity moments, also while in hideout. GPU overclock does not affect the problem, neither does DLAA.

If Windows is killing the driver for your video card & restarting it, we'd really need to know more information such as 1) which Nvidia driver version are you using, 2) have you tried reinstalling the driver, and, 3) is your video card overclocked to be able to help.

A DxDiag could be helpful. EA has a step-by-step guide on how to create one here. Save it elsewhere - such as on Pastebin - and post a link to it here in the thread.

same problem as this thread. no overclocking. latest NVIDIA driver. game freezes. then black screen and reload gears icon spinning. then game resumes. minimap gets reseted as if the zone was new, but the map is in the same state as before the freeze. weird af. never happened any other league. this happens consistently several times a session. only happens in this game.

yes exactly same problem. I found out when you do more demanding stuff like delirium and legion it crashes the most. I don't know if they even read this problem, cause I have seen people complaining here and they didn't reveal they work on it in post. I honestly tried everything you can including drivers, changing config file, renderers, settings, so basicly everything I could. It seems like the problem lays on graphic side and honestly I don't know why i would crash this league when there aren't any effects added into normal maps like before.

I'm having the same problem. Started happening the day of the patch. Oddly, it also started happening in poe2 at the same time.

This has been consistently happening since 3.26. Never had this happen before. If the pause feature wasn't added I would likely die everytime.

same issue. I tried change all settings, from directx 12 to 12, then to vulcan, fullwindowed/fullscreen, dlss off/on etc. Reinstall game, delete and install drivers NOTHING help. PLS fix this!! i cant farm what i want, i cant enjoy the game because i always think about "well time to freeze and kick me tf outta here"

since 3.26 launch originator packs, wildwood wisps (with scarab or the viridian spawn in map), delirium, harbinger, bismuth effect, when i use memory skills, blights etc etc

game just got semi freeze, i can move my mouse, i can talk in chat etc, i just cant move/attack/pick itens.

so i need to relog and lost all buffs (shrines etc) and lost 1 portal in map

AND lost the fun

3 weeks and nothing changed...
