this is crap, I went through 4 labs and at the end I got the stone I needed (Volcanic Fissure of Snaking) in the end it didn't let me go out through the portal, the instance is not available, disconnect with the queue, I came back, my points are gone 4 labs and the stone is gone.
GGG you keep shitting yourself, this is terrible, killed poe1

Why do we have the same problem every new league? All project management staff must be fired! There hasn't been a smooth league start since 2021, I think.

Maybe you could elaborate on this but I don't think this is the reason you mention?
Certainly, because when NTT reroutes you from say Paris server directly to US to Asia to Netherlands and then to Paris you ping goes to hell and back, GGGs server loses contact and your personal instance is lost and so is your progress.

There is a post earlier in this thread I’m think around about page 143 that refers to a Reddit post, if my simplified explanation isnt enough there is the actual reply from Cogent support there (allegedly)

I don't recognize the picture you're painting, this isn't my experience at all, for me 'Crashes' are nothing like "every 20-30" minutes, there's no pattern I can see and frankly I can't say I can say I've seen ANY server crashes in the last 24 hours, but I've had many DCs: I don't see how a player can say they were DCed by a server 'crash' or a DC from a network failure, in PoE1 the result is the same, the character loads back in to a hub and loses the zone instance; oh, an I've never been 'rolled back' though I don't claim that isn't possible but I expect it's very rare.
So this is what I'm seeing from Manchester,England, using the London gateway:
1) Log in and play normally, Latency shows typicall 8-15 in the hub I load into.
2) When I exit the hub into a zone, any zone one of two things will happen:
a) Latency stays around 10
or b) Latency spikes of over 200ms happen every second or two.
If I get into state (b) a DC is almost guaranteed some time, up to a couple of minutes later.
This can happen and any zone transition, I can be playing in state (a) for many, many minutes but the moment I zone I can get into state (b) immediately.
When in state (n) the video stutters and the sound drops perfectly in sync with the 200+ms Latency spike.
Sever crashes have happened which I'm in either state.
Just posted an answer to similar reply, hope it helps explain. Sorry I can be a bit techie sometimes I use to work in corporate IT support in Wales before I retired to France.

For Playstation/Console players:
I've downloaded the PS4 version, approximately 50GB.
Once that was finished, my PS5 immediately downloaded an Update of about 11GB called version 3.20 (The PS5 version is on version 1.022).
This version works fine and i made a character and am on the Beach!
I have the PS5 version installed too, but it seems it still needs the 1.023 update to function!
TL-DR: Install the PS4 version, update it and you should be able to play!
