Taking a break until temporal chains is gone

TC shouldn't exist at the current strenght, it was fine in 0.1 but in 0.2 it makes the map a slug so I started to avoid it, no big deal on T15 maps since they are basically infinite now but T16 on the other end it feels bad when you roll one with it.
Tech guy
Haven't tried it yet but worst case it will continue to be an auto sell mod. However, after playing with the other curse mods, I'm much more likely to play with this version of the mod then the last version. The new version of the mod might actually add a fun challenge to play around.

Ah, yes. A fun challenge to play around - particularly as a melee character where your base attack slams have a 3 second wind up.

Or you can be a Pathfinder (and almost certainly playing some form of ranged build) and completely ignore it.

Very fun, indeed.

Just. Fucking. Dodge. It
Or accept it whatever. This crying about evert fucking little thing here is getting insane

Welcome to the feedback forum.

If I "cry", it's because despite everything, I like the game and don't want to see it falling.

Someone needs to stop GGG and their obsession with friction/downside to things

Exactly this.
This is such a fun game but its chipping away CONSTANTLY at my patience.
It feels as if the game is purposefully trying to annoy me.

So many things that are just unfun, mind boggling.

Most of this i think just seems to be because they transfered stuff 1:1 from PoE1 and a lot of mechanics just dont "work" here, because its not the same game.
All mechanics are kinda time-based. Cool in PoE1 where i zoom - here? It feels like im trying to outrun barry allen all the time...Breach/Delirium most of all.
Why is it time based in a game that is slower?

Temporal Chains. Jeah, as OP said, it should not exist. If i get hit with one i will get hit by the next 5-10 as well. Its horrible.

Same with Armor Movement speed. Why is Armor still reducing movement speed in a game where you are starving for it? My Deadeye feels ok. My Armorbased Kitava is a snail. I feel forced to wear the onslaught helmet all the time and with it it still feels only okay-ish.
Remove the speed penalty ffs.

Then stuff like early game progression.
Ritual Altars x4 should be baseline. Having not enough favor early game (Where there are less mobs anyway) to get your Invitation feels horrible puts a stop to you progressing that mechanic. And it annoys the player yet again.

Then the Passive tree.
Its so barebones. Im constantly trying to fix problems with my build and search for it on the Passive tree but there is nothing. No answers, nothing. Just Damage and Armor/evasion/ES.
So boring.
Where is Resistance/Life/Reduced Curse Effect/Remove Curse when you do X/Reduced Chill Effect/Physical Damage Reduction/Life Leech (No, not increased Life Leech. I mean life leech to start you up)/Life Regen (not 1% when im standing still ty very much) and so forth...its just barebones.

I know they are trying and i see that they are really doing well in some places but i really believe that doing PoE1 and PoE2 with mostly the same people is hurting PoE2 in the long run. PoE1 shines because of this, PoE2 gets so much annoying friction that you just sit here and ask: "Where is the fun?"

I completely agree.

I don't think it was fine before, but at least it didn't feel like getting kicked in the nuts
what if they do this on purpose so people switch to poe1, crazy idea no? Big patch for poe 1 next week btw

yea it sucks shit

however you do get way more waystones than you could ever possibly use so id just corrupt / reroll the shitty ones instead of running them

That's true. However, my problem isn't that I can't avoid it, my problem is that such a thing even exists in the first place. It opens precedent to bad designs like this one, and tells me that there's no plans of stopping with this kind of nonsense

i agree, because the current way to circumvent this annoying issue (no one likes it) is to have an excessive amount of waystones and waste your time going through them and throwing them away. none of it is fun at the end of the day
