Temporal chains has existed in PoE1 since 2011. I don't think it's going anywhere in PoE2.

Debuffs like temporal chains to make maps "challenging" is lazy bullshit. Forcing interruptions in your play every few seconds is annoying and infuriating, not challenging nor fun. Does not deserve to exist. These developers need to play Dark Souls to understand the concepts of challenge and fun.
