how will settlers not be a mandatory to do mechanic now

I mean yeah you need to farm gold, but you'll get that anyway.

but it's basically free currency for a couple clicks.

I mean yeah the mercs seem to cost gold, but is that gonna be worth saccing just free currency?

and now there's also a "tax" on the atlas tree to minmax it, which also kinda feels like it sucks.

unless of course they nerfed the absolute shit out of its rewards.

I'M really not a fan of this, because it gives a lot of Fomo and feels very mobile gamey. and it felt absolutely insane not to do it last league and seems like that's not changing.

Next league I plan to just hoard gold and gamble for Mageblood. No way I'm stepping foot in Kingsmarch again.

sure but you'll most likely be missing out on a ton of free currency :D
Surely you don't expect Kingsmarch to be as lucrative as it was in Settlers League...?

League mechanics going core are always nerfed.

it doesnt have to be "as lucrative" to be mandatory
since it essentially takes very little effort.

unless the mercs are super powerful and eat up a lot of gold

settlers is straight up barely more efficient than just gambling items, it's gonna be mandatory especially with atlas points.
We don't know if the odds are in our favor. Remember that a certain NPC named Gwennen is in the game, lmao
Settlers going core is absolute garbage.
Affliction and Necropolis worst leagues ever. The current game design has slowly turned this game into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are way too available; and obtaining chase items through stacked decks and valdo's boxes simply isn't fun.
Thats the funny part. It will be mandatory. Enjoy your "daily quests" and logging to the game even thop you dont want to, because you need to send new ship and "restock" mappers.
Nulled.
