4 month league cycle is way too long
I wonder how many players jump regularly from poe1 to poe2 back to poe1 every two months. Personally, and based on poe2 player numbers, I feel like there is a significant, if not majority, of players who just want to play poe2, and then there are many players who just want to play poe1. Both of these groups now have longer league cycles = worst experience for everyone. Only the group that play both poe1 and poe2 have better experience. How big this group is? Poe2 to me already feel like a dead game and we are 2 month until next league. We are in early access, there is still so little content for even one month. The player base is extremely low already. Am I the only one who expected that after the initial commercial success, things will move faster in poe2? I even started looking for a different game because it feels like I might wait another 2 years before Assassin dagger class is introduced to poe2 with the current pace of changes. This is actually the first time I started to worry about the future of poe2. That is why I’m writing this, I would really like for this game to succeed. I feel like extending the league cycle under the current circumstances is not a good idea, especially in early access when everything is unbalanced and unfinished and GGG only want to make big balance changes with new league.

You must remember a lot of players have a LIFE and jobs and play only a hour per day or less and too fast cycle do not let them reach deep in endgame.

I agree it's rather long, even playing casually I'm usually done in 6-8 weeks. Mid-league patches help tho, I've been hyped by today's patch.

Check your entitlement my dude. Maybe POE3 will have one week leagues and every build is a one button screen clear at lvl 10. You would still probably complain.

GGG should move away from leagues wholesale and focus instead on developing lasting, quality content.

" god no, plz no(imo) League starts is what keeps the juice flowing. Every 4 months league starts in both poe versions would be a great compromise if it comes to that. |

F R E S H is a mind-virus. Permanent, enjoyable content is what GGG should develop, not FOMO gimmicks.

Horrible advice, that just means only the sweatlords will ever get to max level and gear before the league resets, and once a league resets your character is dead and irrelevant
