PauseCore here we go. PoE 1 gets PoE 2 pausing feature.

I expected PoE the 1st would get some features from PiE2 but not the most obvious one which is pausing.

Guess this makes the game more accessible to some degree and will prevent certain deaths ins some situations but oneshots will still get people. If near RIP pausing + 10-15 waiting for instance reset like in PoE2.

Will not work for pinnacle bosses (yet?!) but for most other content where it can get spicey as well.

I’m so happy about this. It’s going to make phone calls, deliveries, and acute watery diarrhoea much less of a hassle.
I view this as a pretty big benefit

if you want to cheese HC you already can, but HC also needs more players and if this halfway house gets players willing to give it a go i think that's a pretty big plus.

Is it really worse than instant logout? Ehhh i view it as the same really without the need to use AHK and its probably more reliable when your getting crapped on by packetloss/latency which is a huge + anyway.

So yeah, quite positive even as a HC stan who thinks logouts lame
will we be able to pause when we think we're going to die and respec some passives into more defenses to surive?

Well, now that this feature is being introduced, GGG will naturally have to rebalance the rest of the game to accommodate its use. =9[.]9=

Full go hard players will probably have a pause macro followed up by a logout and auto timer macro, so they can comfortably log back into a fresh instance. Lol

Aint gonna happen , but having mid-to-endgame closer balanced to nowadays player power wouldn’t hurt ;)

We dropped it 10 years ago. Only people who still think it requires any skill are few elitists who try their hardest to prove they are better than others
