Player power is so high that it is ruining the game. 1-button screen clear is BORING.
" Because without balance the powerscaling and powercreep will destroy the game. Like currently defensive playstyle is non-existent. "defense" is at this point only too counter the massive gamebraking oneshot abilities. 1. Players get so powerful they clear everything. This already has an issue where everything gets funneled into a simple direction. Aka you start any build, then realize you're literally wasting skillpoints, gems, etc... 2. to give players challenge the only option is to give mobs oneshot mechanics. If you cant die the game is not an arpg, its an idle game without autobattle option 3. So since you clear everything before they turn up[ on the screen, you might hate it, but enemies need to be able to damage you off screen. This will result "unfairness". 4. Due to 3) "defense" is not about surviving enemies head on anymore. "Tankyness" is to be able to survive a stray off screen stray projectile in the visual clusterf*ck. Endgame is so easy to broken builds playing the map isn't even an issue. Their builds are about divine/hour metric. Its not even about "yeah. I managed to kill T4 boss," Its "I killed T4 boss 100x lets see the droptable" So casual players the endgame is unfair, for broken builds its an idle game... And no, you don't need a half hour powerstruggle against every white pack. You know... there are game genres about crowd control. Since most endgame builds only have 1 or 2 button builds anyway the direction I would go is to turn the swarm based aprg into a CC 1-man-army battle with countermechanics: speedsters - toss a slow ground that reciprocal with speed: the faster the enemy, the greater the effect knockback: not just a pushback, but if there's a terrain collision, enemies get stunned too Blind - instead of reduced accuracy, it should be loss of line of sight creating walls would force enemies to find path to attack you And yes, combo playstyles should be more rewarding than finding ways to overtune your mathematical builds. I mean... yeah... its a nice thing to have that. But as an option! Not as you play the game this way or just give up. |

" The issue here is the elemental benefits: Lightning - have seeking projectiles - shock increase damage from ANY source by 20% - electrocute can stun enemies Does it even have any downside compared to the other elements? Freeze: slow and hard CC? 2nd best element Fire and poison: gives extra dot? Who cares? Enemies MUST die within 1 second or you're dead. |

" Bro the problem isn't only the one click screen clearing. If they want to bring conditions before patch 0.2.0 where all classes had the opportunity to build such a viable build, then it is ok , but bringing viable builds ONLY for specific classes or weapon is not acceptable. It's running the party game. I wanna my Herald skill combinations back, if not then equal possibilities please.... In the end we gonna change all of us to spear play. Actually they force us, becouse balance continues to be s..t. |

" This issue only really exists if you can one shot everything consistently. Ideally that isn't the core gameplay loop though which will inherently balance out the elements. If you actually take long enough to kill things for an ignite to chew through someone than suddenly dealing more damage over time is balanced with hitting more enemies for less damage. Maybe the full kitted out end of endgame BiS builds will inherently favor lightning for increased clear, but that can be fixed with a couple well placed chase mods like exploding chests for fire or making uber bosses with rewards on par with lightning's clear speed. |

I've been screaming this from the rooftops for every game. Games that get like this are for casuals. The 1 screen 1 click clears are stupid. There's no way to even play multiplayer like this. Everyone 1 shots everything so it's a race to see who can hit what first.
GGG will be stuck in the same endless cycle of making new content for no reason. I always say "why even make new artwork and cool content when we just 1 shot it all anyways. why make new cool boss mechanics when we kill the bosses so fast we don't even see them anyways?". These things are what makes the game a game. It's not a game when you can kill stuff faster than an admin could with cheat codes. I came on here the second the last patch dropped because they actually had the audacity to make mobs even WEAKER and LESS threatening than they were before when they already posed almost 0 threat to begin with. That was my final straw. I still observe the forums to see if someone can knock some sense back into them because I'd like to come back, but I won't while the game is going down this path where it's easy for even the worst gamers. It's unfun. Games that do this always suffer the same fate. Here's how it goes; 1) Player makes character in 2 days 2) Player copy and pastes a meta busted build from a twitch streamer 3) Player runs around for 2 weeks looting everything in site. 4) Trade market crashes because nobody needs anything anymore. 5) There's 10 weeks left in a 3 month season, and everyone says "There's nothing left to do, we need more end game content" 6) Developer puts out more content thinking bosses = content, but don't realize that the builds are so effing strong that they just delete those bosses in sub 1 second too, so they just collect that loot, then continue screaming "not enough content" - Rinse and repeat #6 7) Players leave in droves by week 3 of season and wait for reset. A 3 month season should take 2 months to build out a character to the point where it's VERY strong, and very strong should only be HALF as strong as what we have now. What we have now is just laughable. Please don't listen to the idiots saying it's fun. They claim to be the majority. They're not. They're not the people who invest in your F2P game. They come for the 2 weeks of a new season, loot everything, and leave. They have no investment in the game. They lack vision. |

" Bro tell that to Devs....1000% agree of what you said and i bet profi-players that play skillfull and not with one click, agree too... The problem lies to the desicions made by Devs. No one explains why they take them so bad contructed in every patch coming! So game left with few people and we reached summer with no actually balanced everything in the game. Dont mentioning the bugs that left tons in posts without fixing them.
