New-gen ARPG with 30 year old core systems?!
On top of that we have a terrible trade system, uncreative affixes like light radius, the need of an external loot filter to remove the sheer amount of crap on the ground, waypoints that don't act like a checkpoint, necessity to identify items, and a lot of unnecessary complexity with currencies like talismans, soul cores, omens for crafting, 3 separate ranks for runes, almost useless essences, the list goes on and on

light radius, magic find, gold find, mana siphon... just a few of the things that could have been left behind in Diablo II and nobody would have minded at all
