GGG, please understand something. We LIKED the clutter before. Clutter is useful so we can filter out what we don't want and focus on what we really want.
The biggest issue is being level 50 wearing level 15 gear because that piece of gear was the best piece that dropped all game. If that is happening, which it is unless you go to the trade site to trade currency for gear (WHICH I DONT CONSIDER A DOPAMINE HIT). We don't want to buy our gear for currency. We want drops that MATTER. Drops that you share with your friends and say WOW, look what I just got. That isn't what POE2 currently is. POE2 is "look what I just bought" which is boring. |

Thanks for atleast trying to fix the lack of dopamine.
I hope to see rarity find be gone on release, i feel like it would be a lot easier as a dev to balance drops that way too, instead of having this wonky uneven playing field, and having groups of people benefit to insane degrees from having a rarity bot on their team. Having to look for rarity find on gear just straight up feels bad, why is it not tied to how risky a map is as an example, there is no RISK = REWARD in the endgame, if you're lucky you roll a waystone with rarity, quant and pack size and you have a godroll map, with absolutely no risks at all. Temporal chains as an example is just straight up bricked aka vendored, i have NO INSENTIVE to run that map. |
