Affixes rolls like these, should never appear even from Millock on the beach xD
Yeeah that's just tragic lol, and the next patch isn't even gonna fix loot at all. They're only buffing drops from bosses in campaign, so the overall game and mapping experience will still feel exactly the same. A boring slog with 0 loot and 0 dopamine to be found anywhere.

Exp loss on death is too annoying.
For me having the EXP omen stackable would be enough . They take up too much space 1 by 1 and i hate to buy them over and over .
But not everyone is going to have 7 exalts for 1 death so this might not be the best solution .
Bruh, what? How many times do you die per hour/day? That sounds crazy, you're not supposed to die like that lol
The punition of dying in hardcore is loosing your character.
The punition of dying in softcore is loosing some experience.
Honestly, sounds fair enough.
You're not supposed to have a kamikaz gameplay style.
Death should feel bad, and that's what is happening, bad enough to make you want to not happen again, by playing more carefully, or upgrade your character.
And if you want to try some super crazy things that will probably kill you, or try to push your limits, you can do it right after a level up, so you have 0 experience to lose.
Nah, softcore shouldn't have any death penalties. Because its Softcore. It's supposed to be the easiest mode.
Just look at LE, that game doesn't take away your exp when you die and it still has more players than PoE 2 atm. That tells you that all this "friction" like exp loss is completely unnecessary and useless in PoE. No reason for it to exist except wasting the player's time. And as we can see, a lot of people are quitting because the game does not respect the player's time in 100 different ways.

And KurauPM#6519 you must have been playing white tier 15 maps if you have played any at all .
Oneshots and silly deaths happen all the time, out of the players control , in fact too often that is the point . You don't have to go kamikaze . Go watch a streamer , everyone dies all the time in end-game content.

i agree with op on most points, but one in particular rings true more than anything.
poe2 has the worst crafting and drops of ANY arpg i have played. frankly its an embarrassment.

I've already finished everything except Ritual (cause somehow, i still didnt find a single audiance with the king, nice drop rate).
You're talking about T15 white maps, funny, when maps are basicly at minimum "t16" or even 17 with the purge system on corrupted maps.
There are no reason to run white maps in PoE2, since there is basicly no "dangerous affixes" like in PoE 1, like F-king reflect, No regeneration, that could instant kill your build.
Biggest one here is "temporal chain", yey, woooo, scary !
Being a steamer doesnt make you a good player, lol.
Sure there are some good ones, but also some average/bad ones.
And most of the steamers "feels" the need to play a high dps low def character to be impressive and make "good content", and that's a wrong way to see it.

No crazy mods like poe1 ? Have you ever done any mapping really ?
Crit , monster atk mod combinations , gain damage etc.
Dont try to play the pro gamer here buddy , you dont have to .

You really are missing the point .
Noone said streamers are good players , i set it as an example for you to check out how often deaths happen without a player making a mistake .
White maps was a poetic exaggeration.
The fact is that you can have perfect gear and a white mob can still kill you from offscreen without you making any mistake .
There are a tons of non-telegraphed attacks as well .
Death and ground effects which you cant see under the delirium fog for example .
If i die 20 times to Malenia i have no problem with it because it is hard and i learn something on every occasion and practice .
Here you cant practice .
This game is not hard in any way . It's annoying at best
